The city pillar shrine parade is held every 11th day of the fifth lunar month, according to the Chinese calendar. The Samutsakorn city pillar shrine is a sacred homage to the people of Samut Sakhon for a long time. There are people from all walks of life worshiping. Before fishing, fishermen often beg for happiness and safety. Therefore, the Samutsakorn city pillar shrine parade tradition is held greatly for people to come and worship and the procession of the shrine of the city for both inland and in water, and this tradition can be found only one place in Thailand because it will march on land and in water. There are also spectacular performances of lions and golden dragon, watch sky rockets and firecrackers, watch the various competitions, and put gold papers on the Buddha Status and the God in the pillar shrine as well as seeing many other entertainments.
